Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center

Behavioral Health Services

At Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center, our Behavorial Health program provides consultation, evaluation, and treatment for a variety of issues that can impact emotional well-being.

Services include mental health care, addictions treatment, and selected social services (e.g. housing, employment assistance) to Veterans living throughout the hospital’s 60,000 square mile catchment area from Northwestern Montana, Northern Idaho Panhandle, and Northeast and Central Washington.  Our dedicated team of mental health counselors, licensed social workers and homeless Veteran care team providers conduct more than 60,000 clinical encounters each year.

In addition, we have adopted the Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) model of care where Veterans can also receive an evaluation and assistance with any mental health concerns during their primary care appointment.  We also have the ability to assist Women Veterans through our Women Veterans Health Program, as well as our Military Sexual Trauama (MST) counselors who can help.  For more information about MST, please follow this link.
