Psychology Doctoral Internship Program

A key and the word "success"
This page is for individuals interested in learning more about the
Walla Walla - Spokane Psychology Doctoral Internship program.

The Walla Walla-Spokane Doctoral Psychology Internship program is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association. The internship began training students in 2012 and recently attained a seven-year accreditation by the APA. We currently offer four internship spots. This joint internship emphasizes diversity and skills for serving in urban, rural, and highly rural settings as interns complete two six-month rotations at each site. The program is unique in that it truly is a joint internship between two rural Washington state VA medical centers.

Each of the medical centers offer unique opportunities and perspectives to the trainee while still maintaining cohesion in training across the two sites. The VA medical centers are located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, offering a wide range of outdoor activities.
