Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center
Mann-Grandstaff VAMC offers Electronic Funds Transfer to reimburse Veterans for their Beneficiary Travel claims.
As part of our commitment to providing Veterans with world class healthcare and services, and to comply with Department of Treasury requirement to process payments by electronic funds transfer (EFT), the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center implemented the Treasury requirement for EFT payment processing including payment for beneficiary travel on April 1, 2014. This change improved services, provided significant savings to your time by eliminating waiting in long lines, and ensures a safe and efficient way to receive payments.
To avoid the line and save your self time, here is what you will need to do:
•Complete the Direct Deposit Enrollment Form. This form, once completed, will enable the VA to register your bank account information in the VA payment system so that your future claim submissions can be processed and sent to your bank account. Fill out the form completely to avoid processing delays.
•When the form is completed, you can:◦Return it to the Travel Office now or at your next appointment.
◦Fax it to our secure fax line at (509) 434-7193.
◦Mail it to Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center, ATTN: EFT Coordinator; 4815 N. Assembly Street (04T), Spokane, WA 99205.
Once your information has been received and direct deposit goes into effect, you will be able to simply fill out a voucher form at the Beneficiary Travel window, turn it in to the Travel Clerk or drop box, and payment will be electronically deposited into your bank account in less than 10 business days.
To help explain this improvement in service, we have Frequently Asked Questions page you can download. However, if you have questions that have not been answered, we encourage you to call (509) 434-7517.
