MGVAMC Welcomes Interim Director

Tuesday, June 13, 2017Tracye B. Davis, FACHE and the Deputy Director at VISN 20’s Portland VA Health Care System began her detail as Interim Medical Center Director at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, WA effective June 9, 2017. Ms. Davis has been a VA employee since 2004, having started as a Fellow of the Graduate Healthcare Administration Training Program in the VA’s Pittsburgh Health Care System. She has held a variety of positions during her 14-years with the VA, including quality management, patient safety, cultural transformation for dementia care, and compliance and business integrity. She has also served as an Executive Assistant to the Director at the VA’s North Texas Health Care System from 2008-13. A promotion to Associate Director followed at the VA’s Maine Health Care System through 2015. While serving as Deputy Director at the Portland HCS last year, she also spent August-December 2016 as Interim Medical Center Director of the VA’s Long Beach (California) Health Care System.
Tracye Davis is a Board Certified Health Care Executive and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). She is a graduate of VA’s 2011 Health Care Leadership Development Program and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX and a Master of Health Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
