Attention Women Veterans in the Inland Northwest! Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, WA is linking to a special event this week, highlighting Women Veterans Health programs and services available through VA. Below are the details we’re hoping you and other Women Veterans will find useful and helpful – beginning with the link to receive an automated phone call to join the online event this Wednesday, live from Portland VAHCS!
During this ~ 30-45-minute call, hosted by VA’s Portland, OR Health Care System, you will learn about COVID-19 vaccines, their side effects, facts women Veterans should be aware of, and about VA Portland’s on-going vaccination efforts. VA Women’s Health experts and other staff will be on hand to answer your questions.
All women Veterans are invited, but we strongly encourage Black, Hispanic, and Native American women, women who are pregnant, and women over 65 years old to attend the town hall so we can address your questions and concerns. To sign up, simply click THIS LINK (non-VA):
https://dashboard.teletownhall.us/registration/98WS5CDRYGM4 and fill out a little information to receive a phone call at ~ 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, to join the call. All you must do is answer your phone to join the conversation. The call is free. Sorry, there are no call-in numbers for this event. |
